Professional Journey

With more than 20 years of experience spanning the corporate, nonprofit, entrepreneurial, and educational sectors, Tiara’s professional journey includes an accomplished 18-year corporate career with a Fortune 50 company, working across public affairs, executive communications, employee engagement, and corporate events. In 2023, she courageously exited into full-time entrepreneurship as founder and CEO of Tiara PR Network. Tiara PR Network is an award-winning upscale boutique firm driving social impact through strategic and purposeful PR, branding, communications, events, and branded luxury Photo Booth experiences.

With Tiara’s leadership and expertise, Tiara PR Network has successfully secured client placements across most of the nation’s leading media outlets, including: CNN, MSNBC, Good Morning America, USA Today, BET, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, TMZ, and more.

With a profound gift for inspiring lives via the power of words, for decades Tiara has spoken or taught in-person and virtually at hundreds of business and social events hosted by colleges, high schools, corporations, small businesses, churches, organizations, and diverse business professionals. Her roster of speaking and teaching engagements includes: Harvard University, Illinois State University, Tarrant County College, Illinois Wesleyan University, Texas Woman’s University, University of North Texas, multiple high schools, the World Affairs Council, the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, the Metrocrest Area Chamber of Commerce, State Farm, and many public and private events.

Tiara has contributed to multiple published articles and books, including Managing Public Relations: Business Principles & Tools for Strategic Communication. She is also a contributing author of the 2026 anthology, Against All Odds: The Rose That Grew from Concrete, where she shares a transparent chapter of her entrepreneurial journey.

Notable PR Experiences

Tiara’s most notable PR experiences include her firm's efforts in the battle for civil rights and social justice. She has worked alongside some of the nation’s most well-known Civil Rights attorneys and community leaders as their PR, communications, crisis, and media director. She has led efforts for multiple media-saturated situations, including the Allen Outlet Mall mass shooting, Tarrant County Jail inmate deaths, celebrity legal cases, and more. On the political side, Tiara was the campaign manager and PR director for a Texas State Representative nominee from 2021 - 2022, and the PR director for a Texas congressional candidate from 2022 - 2023. She has also been the event chair and PR coordinator for multiple high-caliber events.

Making a Social Impact

With a lifelong passion for social justice, mental health, women’s and girls’ empowerment, and using one’s voice, Tiara is also the visionary creator of her highly-acclaimed Speak That! Movement brands. Tiara founded Speak That! Movement as a nonprofit community organization that will be relaunching in late 2026. She is also the creator, host and executive producer of Speak That! Talks, which allows her to promote and coach guest speakers from all over the world. In 2021, she launched, Girl, Speak That!, to equip and empower the future generation of women in business. While taking a course at Harvard University, she produced and directed her first social justice documentary, Speak Their Stories, to uniquely share the story of women impacted by social injustice. The project was nominated for a 2023 Essence Film Festival Award.

With a strong desire to help empower and educate the next generation, in 2026, she created and launched the Tiara PR Network Kiddie Speaker Sneaker Camp. This effort is helping to build confidence and social skills in children from kindergarten through eighth grade through fun, interactive public speaking, communication, and teamwork activities.

Committed to making an impact locally and globally, Tiara was named the 2026 Ambassador of the Year by the Metrocrest Area Chamber of Commerce. She is also the Texas Director for LoveJustice.com, the social justice community hub supporting, connecting, and celebrating community changemakers. In addition to being the global spokesperson for the organization, she leads the community efforts, manages the social media platforms, hosts the LoveJustice community events, and serves as the executive producer and host for the LoveJustice Changemakers Chat and LoveJustice Podcast.

Tiara serves as a charter member and the 2026-2027 President of Texas Professionals Rotary Club. She served as the 2022 Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion for the Dallas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

What's Next for Tiara

Being a mindfulness enthusiast who has had battles with anxiety and imposter syndrome while going after her own dreams, Tiara is dedicated to using her platforms, workshops, events, speaking engagements, and mentoring to bless others. To expand her education beyond her B.S. degree in Public Relations and M.S. degree in Communication from Illinois State University, since 2019 she has attained a Certificate in Mindfulness; a Certificate in Life Coaching; a Certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace; and aced a Nonprofit Leadership and Community Engagement graduate course at Harvard University, where she was later invited to be a guest lecturer.

Tiara is the Ambassador Co-Chair for the Metrocrest Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of eWomen Network, ISU Alumni Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., NAACP, and other professional organizations.
